Join Susan Carr for a guided plant hike along the Suwannee river! A seasoned conservationist, Susan has a deep understanding of Florida ecology.
The hike will be conducted at a leisurely pace to allow participants to fully engage with and observe the local plant life. It’s a perfect opportunity for those who want to slow down and learn more about the native flora of the area. We'll cover a shorter distance, likely two miles or less, and immerse ourselves in the landscape.
Meet at the Florida Native Plant Society booth. The hike will depart at 11am.
Please bring water, snacks, bug spray, sunscreen, and weather-appropriate clothing.
