The Florida Wildlife Federation’s (FWF) mission is to safeguard Florida’s water, wildlife, and wild spaces by taking action today to prevent irreversible loss tomorrow. Casey Darling Kniffin, FWF’s Conservation Policy Director, will talk about the work FWF does to advocate for funding land conservation, defending public lands, restoring historic flows of water throughout Florida, and protecting our iconic wildlife like the Florida panther and Florida black bear. Additionally, we will talk about how volunteers with the Florida Trail Association can help with these statewide efforts and share the word with other conservationists statewide.
