Our annual Big Cypress Holiday Party will be held at Doc Thomas House, 5530 Sunset Drive, South Miami. This is a party you will not want to miss. We will start off with our hot cocoa drinks topped with whipped cream and sprinkles. We will cater dinner from La Granja with delicious grilled chicken, black beans, tostones, fried yuca, etc. We will have a contest for the best desert. If you’d like to participate, please bring a homemade desert to share. We will also have a Best costume award. Please wear your favorite ugly sweater or holiday costume.
We’ll also have a white elephant gift exchange. Please bring a wrapped gift (new or used). We ask they be under $20.00 or you can be something you already have to regift. We will give numbers to everyone. We will go by the number order and each person can either choose a new gift that is still wrapped or “steal” an unwrapped gift from another member. This game is a lot of fun. Please bring one gift per person for gift exchange. RSVP so that we know how much to order from the caterer. Family is welcome.
