Description

Hosted by hiker support group FTthruHIKE, Kickoff is an annual volunteer run event to support thru-hikers.

Volunteers will share trail information, and shuttle thru-hikers to the southern terminus each morning.

Some food will likely be provided, but not guaranteed.  

Camping in group campsite is $20 per hiker per night - payable at the campground office upon your arrival. If you are not tenting in the group site, and prefer to have your own camp site then please make reservations with Trail Lakes Campground. This also applies to to those in campers/trailers/vans/etc.

Please note that this event is NOT run by FTA. It is run by one of our partner groups, FTthruHIKE. Happy trails!
