This is a strenuous hike with overnight campout and reserved for FTA members and vetted hikers who can hike for 6-8 hours with a full pack.
Meet on Friday morning at Oasis and hike about 10 miles along the FT to Stephen’s camp. Set up camp there for two nights.
Leisurely day on Saturday with activities: exploring surrounding area, water filtering exercises under dry conditions. Return on
Sunday.
About 6 participants are scheduled to participate (including AL and co-lead), they have been vetted through conversations with
FTA activity leaders and members.
