Come join the Florida Trail Association and the Apalachee Chapter for a trail maintenance event along the Aucilla Sinks section! The picturesque Aucilla Sinks section of Florida National Scenic Trail follows along the wooded Aucilla River, which disappears underground and re-emerges again and again.
What to expect: We will use a combination of power tools and hand tools to bring the trail back up to standard. We will work on the 5 miles of trail that runs south of Goose Pasture Rd known as "the sinks" as well as the 10 miles along the Aucilla River.
