Come along as we take a "Peek Into Little Havana’s History” with Dr. Paul George – Miami Dade College history professor, author, and Miami’s premier historian - as he covers the architectural significance of the neighborhood, the history of the Tower Theater, the Cuban Memorial Boulevard and tells us why Little Havana is so important to Miami today. Dr. George offers 12 different tours of Little Havana, all of which, are free to the public.
The Little Havana Walking Tours are offered during Viernes Culturales, which takes place on the third Friday of each month. The festivities begin at noon and run until 11 p.m., though many venues stay open later.
