Description

It’s time to give back!

Even though most of our trails, including the majority of the Florida National Scenic Trail, are inland, we in South Florida are blessed to have the beaches of the Atlantic and all our waterways less than an hour from our homes. The coastal areas including the corals and mangroves are super important since they are our first line of defense against relentless winds, rain and yes, storm surges. The health and well-being of these areas depend so much on us and much of what is alien there is of our own making…. Plastic bottles and caps, buoys and crates, flip flops, balloons and more….

Do your part and let’s clean up our coastal areas together. Let’s celebrate International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) Day by doing just that!!! There are over 50 sites from which to choose! Bring your families and friends!

You’ll be amazed at how much satisfaction you get and how great you feel afterwards!

See below for Miami-Dade County registration. Get a free ‘Protect Biscayne Bay’ License plate while you’re at it!!
